捡拾中国发起于2014年，旨在通过组织捡拾和宣传、倡导、影响更多的人行动起来， 通过“随手捡拾，随手公益”的理念倡导，共同改善我们所处的环境。2018年捡拾中国将世界清洁日落地中国，推动了中国有史以来最大规模的环境清理行动。截止2023年，捡拾中国在6年的时间内共推动了全国累计约136万人次参与世界清洁日。2023年世界清洁日正式被联合国确认为国际日，并规定自2024年起将固定于每年9月20日举办。
Pickup China was launched in 2014. It aims to organize picking up and promote, advocate and influence more people to take action, and jointly improve the environment we live in through the concept of "picking up, doing charity". In 2018, "Pickup China" brought the World Cleanup Day to China, promoting the largest environmental cleanup operation in China's history. As of 2023, Pickup China has promoted a total of about 1.36 million people across the country to participate in World Cleanup Day over the past 6 years. In 2023, World Cleanup Day was officially recognized as an international day by the United Nations, and it will be held on September 20 every year from 2024.
